John has been a Financial Advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families since 2000. His passion is to help families enjoy the results of their hard work and manage the challenges associated with wealth. Solving complex issues, recommending effective investment strategies and communicating important concepts are what drive John to continue learning and sharing with our client families.

• Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) - administered by the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with the oversight of the Investment Management Consultant’s Association (IMCA®). This includes; Investment policy, asset allocation, risk management, tax efficiency, alternative investments, international financial markets, measuring returns on portfolios and due diligence of professional investment managers.

• Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) , administered by the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and the Investment Management Consultant’s Association (IMCA®). This includes; Tax planning, estate planning, asset protection planning, transaction planning, planning for business owners & executives, private equity, and multi-generation wealth education.

 • Served on the City of Jacksonville Retirement (Pension) Reform Special Task Force in 2013-2014, and as co-chairman of the Transition Team Pension Committee for the Mayor of Jacksonville in 2011. John’s involvement in addressing the city’s pension liability crossed party lines and spanned over 4 years and 3 different committees. In 2011, he authored the transition report for the Mayor outlining the challenges caused by the city’s pension liabilities and a balanced list of solutions for consideration.

• Member of the United Way of North Florida – Tocqueville Society and Member - Board of Trustees for the Museum of Contemporary Art – Jacksonville, and member of the UNF Financial Services Advisory Council.

• John and his lovely wife, Renee, reside in Jacksonville with their three young children; Foster, Lucienne, and Josephine.
